What your clients recover in month one covers the year. Every tier includes unlimited scans and dossiers.
Lever democratises institutional-grade value creation — doing at machine scale, at accessible price points, what private equity firms and Big 4 advisory currently do manually for the top 1%. We start with regulatory financial optimisation for Belgian SMEs, distributed exclusively through certified accounting professionals.
Belgian accountants leave hundreds of thousands of euros unclaimed per portfolio — not because they don't know the rules, but because checking every lever for every client by hand is impossible at scale. Lever makes it effortless.
To make institutional-grade value creation accessible to every Belgian and European SME — improving enterprise productivity, sustaining employment, and strengthening the economic fabric of the region.
Every euro links to a specific legal basis and a confidence level. Defensible under audit.
Lever makes professionals dramatically more capable — it never replaces their judgment.
Enterprise architecture, GDPR-native, and ethically governed by design from day one.
Lever is built by a team with deep Big-4 technology-strategy and finance-transformation experience, advised by an ITAA-certified Belgian tax specialist. The legal basis for every figure — Art. 275/3 WIB92, ONSS target-group rules, regional grant frameworks — is documented and citable, so the accountant always remains the professional of record.

Version 1.0 · last updated 8 July 2026 · effective from platform launch
This notice explains how Lever collects, uses, shares and protects personal data, and the rights available to you under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Belgian Data Protection Act of 30 July 2018.
MAYDA SRL operates Lever, a financial-diagnostic platform distributed to certified accounting professionals. For account, marketing and analytics data we act as data controller. When an accounting firm uses Lever to process its own clients’ data (entering enterprise numbers, running scans, generating dossiers), Lever and the firm act as joint controllers under Art. 26 GDPR; a Joint Controllership Agreement allocates transparency and data-subject-rights obligations between us.
| Category | Source | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Waitlist & account data — name, work email, firm, role | You | Create and manage your account; communicate with you |
| Public company data — filings, accounts, sector, headcount from KBO/BCE and the NBB/CBSO | Public registers | Run the lever engine and benchmarks |
| Sole-trader indicators — where a registration is a natural person | KBO/BCE | Flagged; pre-scoring is suppressed until a professional relationship is confirmed |
| Usage & device data — pages, events, approximate location | Analytics (consent-based) | Improve the product |
| Support communications | You | Answer requests |
Lever does not seek special-category data. Company financial data is business data; where it relates to an identifiable natural person (e.g. a sole trader), we treat it as personal data under this notice.
Lever computes opportunity scores from company data. These are decision-support outputs reviewed by a licensed professional — not decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Pre-scoring of sole traders is suppressed by default. In line with the EU AI Act transparency principle, platform outputs indicate that figures are AI-assisted estimates requiring professional validation. A Data Protection Impact Assessment (Art. 35) is completed before any large-scale processing begins.
We do not sell personal data. We use vetted processors under Art. 28 data-processing agreements:
| Processor | Role | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Neon / Databricks | Primary database (data moat) | EU — Frankfurt |
| Cloudflare | Hosting, edge, operational data | EU region |
| Anthropic | AI edge-case interpretation & narratives | US — under EU Standard Contractual Clauses |
| Brevo | Transactional & marketing email | EU — Paris / AWS Frankfurt |
| PostHog | Product analytics (consent-based) | EU Cloud |
Personal data is stored in the EU/EEA. The only transfer outside the EEA is to Anthropic (US) for AI processing, governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and a Transfer Impact Assessment. API payloads carry internal identifiers only — never raw enterprise numbers or company records.
Data is hosted on EU infrastructure (Frankfurt). We apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, IP-restricted database access, audit logging, and least-privilege secrets management. Deleted records use logical deletion (a deleted_at marker) so that audit-defence integrity is preserved while excluding the record from all downstream processing.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Waitlist (no account created) | Until you unsubscribe, max 24 months |
| Account & billing data | Duration of the relationship + statutory retention (up to 7 years for accounting) |
| Scan & dossier audit logs | Retained for audit-defence; logically deleted on valid erasure request |
| Benchmark dataset | Anonymised / aggregated — no longer personal data |
Subject to conditions, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. To exercise them, contact privacy@lever.lu; we respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests). You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian DPA (APD/GBA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels.
We use strictly-necessary storage and, with your consent, privacy-first analytics. See our Cookie Notice for details and controls.
We update this notice as the platform evolves and will indicate the version and date above. Questions: privacy@lever.lu.
Version 1.0 · last updated 8 July 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of the Lever platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Notice.
“Platform” means the Lever web application and APIs. “Partner” means an ITAA-certified accounting firm or professional using the Platform. “Client Data” means data a Partner processes about its own clients. “Output” means scores, figures, benchmarks and dossiers generated by the Platform.
Lever scans companies for fiscal and employment optimisation opportunities and produces documented Output. Lever is a decision-support tool, not tax, legal or accounting advice. Output consists of estimates derived from public data and Partner-supplied inputs, intended to be reviewed by a qualified professional before any reliance or submission to an authority.
Accounts are available to (a) ITAA-certified accounting professionals and (b) business owners in respect of their own company (KBO-verified). You are responsible for the accuracy of registration details, for safeguarding credentials, and for activity under your account. We may verify professional status and suspend accounts that fail verification.
The Partner remains the professional of record and retains full professional responsibility for any filing. The Partner must validate every EUR figure and the completeness of supporting documentation before submission. A documentation-completeness gate flags missing mandatory items; overriding it is the Partner’s decision and is logged. Lever does not file with, or communicate on your behalf to, any tax authority.
Paid tiers, minimum client commitments (measured as a quarterly average) and the Success Fee (a percentage of confirmed recovery) are described at registration and in the applicable order. Subscriptions renew for the selected term unless cancelled. Where a submitted claim is rejected, the Success Fee credit mechanism in the Partner agreement applies. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.
The Platform, lever engines, templates, benchmarks and anonymised datasets are and remain the property of MAYDA SRL. The Partner retains ownership of its Client Data and receives a limited licence to use Output for its clients. On termination, a Partner may export its Client Data (CSV) within 30 days.
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice. Where the Partner processes Client Data through the Platform, the parties act as joint controllers under a Joint Controllership Agreement (Art. 26 GDPR).
The Platform is provided “as is”. Output is generated from public and Partner-supplied data and may be incomplete or inaccurate; we do not warrant any particular financial result, recovery amount, or acceptance by an authority. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Lever is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions to submit a claim, which remain the Partner’s professional responsibility. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify MAYDA SRL against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or a submission made without validating the Output as required in section 4.
Either party may terminate in accordance with the applicable order or for material breach not cured within a reasonable period. We may suspend access to protect the Platform or comply with law. Provisions that by their nature survive (IP, liability, data protection) continue after termination.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in advance and the version and date above will be revised. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. The competent courts of Belgium have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.

The exemption is claimed under Art. 275/3 §1,4° WIB92 — an 80% exemption from remitting the wage withholding tax (bedrijfsvoorheffing) attributable to qualifying research personnel. It is filed by reducing the amount remitted on the monthly declaration form 274.1 and reconciled on the annual form 275/2. Retroactive periods are filed as verbeterende aangiften (rectified 274.1 returns), one per month across the eligible window.
Each claimed employee is mapped to a qualifying category under Art. 275/3 §1,4°, with the eligible salary base reduced pro-rata to documented R&D time allocation.

| R&D management (beheerders) | Master | 1 | 45% | EUR 8,100 |
| Total qualifying personnel | 11 | EUR 96,400 | ||
Qualification rests on systematic scientific or technological research, not routine product development. Two documented programmes substantiate the claim:
Uncertainty: whether a self-tuning cost model can outperform static heuristics under unpredictable multi-tenant workloads. Methodology: controlled benchmarking against a fixed baseline, iterative hypothesis testing, measured regression suites. Targeted new knowledge: a cost-estimation algorithm that adapts without manual retuning.
Uncertainty: whether differential-privacy noise can be injected at ingestion without degrading downstream analytical accuracy below usable thresholds. Methodology: systematic parameter sweeps, formal accuracy/privacy trade-off analysis. Targeted new knowledge: an ingestion-time anonymisation method preserving analytical value.

Claim statement. Acerta Consult BV claims a partial exemption from wage withholding tax under Art. 275/3 §1,4° WIB92 for 11 qualifying research personnel across assessment years 2022–2025, totalling EUR 148,200.
Company qualification. The company's NACE-BEL 6201 activity, degree-holding technical workforce, and two documented research programmes (§4) place its activity within the systematic-investigation criterion defined by Circular Ci.RH.243/618.741. The programmes address defined scientific/technological uncertainties through structured methodology, distinguishing them from routine software development.
Regulatory citations. Art. 275/3 §1,4° WIB92; Circular Ci.RH.243/618.741 (§1,4° qualification); BELSPO prior notification BEL-2021-AC-0456; no anti-cumulation conflict with ONSS target-group reductions (§7). Combination with the R&D tax credit for the same expenses is expressly excluded (Law 12 May 2024).

The dossier Lever generates in minutes is a professional advisory deliverable — most firms bill it as a billable service, not a software cost. Three common approaches:
| Firm | Health | Signal | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fiduciaire Denys | 28 | No scan in 34 days | |
| Boekhouding Aerts | 55 | Below client minimum | |
| Comptafid SPRL | 92 | Healthy · upsell to Elite |
This is tax and payroll money your company is likely owed under Belgian rules — mostly because you employ people doing research and development. It's recovered from taxes you've already paid, going back up to five years.
Your accountant files the claim and stays responsible for it — Lever just does the heavy lifting. No accountant yet? We'll match you with a certified Lever partner.
